This is the remote controlled electric boat that resembles a cigarette boat that can reach a speed of 18 1/2 MPH--over 200 MPH at scale speed--on flat water thanks to its sleek fiberglass hull, deck, and twin propellers. The shallow-vee hull displaces water evenly to either side with a minimum of drag for a smooth ride on lakes or ponds, and the boat's two electric motors use thrust vectored steering--spinning one propeller faster than the other causes the boat to turn--to launch the craft into tight turns. It can be controlled up to a range of 98' from the two-channel remote which controls nimble left and right turning. Its rechargeable battery provides up to 30 minutes of play from a five-hour charge using the included AC adapter. Remote requires eight AA batteries.
